Requirements
* bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders from an accredited program
* valid and active license from the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology
* pass a criminal background check

Job Responsibilities
* independently implement intervention techniques during therapy sessions that take into consideration of all unique characteristics and communication needs of each client
* independently and accurately complete a weekly lesson plan for each client
* independently and accurately complete a weekly treatment note for each client
*independently and accurately complete a progress report for each client when required
*educate parents and/or caregivers on strategies to promote independence with skills targeted in the therapy session
